Happy New Year

Whole month of Dec have been either slacking or busy planning for some party.. lol... but now it is finally the end of the Year 2008.

Looking back at the whole year... many things have happened... many friends got married.. many friends broke up.. and I made many new friends..

Just happy to say.. Thanks friends for everything and I am glad to have you in my life...

I also have new hobby.. which is baking .. which have become part of my weekly routine to bake something for the family and friends.. and happy to know that people have enjoy it ...

Some trouble brew up in the family... which left all of us a bit confused and upset.. but all things have work out finely for the last weeks

Happy to also know that people say I am slim down and ask me to keep up the good work..

Thinking back and listing down the top 10 things I have either achieve or gain in 2008. Also decisions that I made in 2008 which I think never in my life I will do it again

1) I got my Masters finally

2) Learn Baking

3) Found Baby Kelly and became good friends cum baking baby

4) Found Jamie and became my shifu cum understand my problems

5) Still have my Baby Joyce ( LOL)

6) Found Lily and became friends

7) Quit my job w/o a job in line

8) Slim down a bit ( still working on it ...)

9) Got a Cute godson

10) I am still with my Monkey after 7 years

There are still many things which i have done and achieve but too many things and also some might have forget.. but so just list my top 10 things (as if man)..

Health been a bad one for me last year.. so next year in 2009 I want better health and also spend more time with my family.. bake more and improve .

Every day came the resolution part of what you want to achieve and do for the next year.. But I guess everyday I did and say.. it does not seems to happened.. to as for 2009 I just want things to be good and smooth and also my Health to be good... Mum to be happy always and Me to get a good job.

There are things I look forward to in 2009... like my best friend getting married.. hopefully a trip to Japan or Taiwan or Both... lol .. carry on with my collections of Longchamp bags.. I simply love them ....

Just taking a quick break to blog on some thing I heard last time before sleeping from Monkey.. nearly make me cannot sleep the whole night...

It was a conversation between Monkey and Cat (yes she again)

Cat : Hi I am going to the Sintext Fair later. Have you been there?

Monkey : Yes.. nothing much there

Cat: Oh I am going with 4 guys

Monkey : so

Cat : They all love me tons tons

Monkey : I think they have have stamps on their eyes.. (some other things which I cannot remember)

Cat : Oh U are just jealous.. Coz you Love me tons tons..

OH MY GOD!!!! I seriously think all the guys have stamps on their eyes.. or that they forget their specs for the days ... and they have 800 and above degree each..

Please do not be so thick skin ... If you are in love or have SOOOOOOOO many ppl chasing you.. then you will not be single and in depression everyday.. or trying to take other ppl's bf.... or in a messy r/s. GROW Up please....

on the side note.. my Home computer is FINALLY fixed... YEAH!!! I can go back to playing my online games.. and also brainless online games.. lalal ..

MRT Ethics

As usual taking the MRT is becoming more of a pain then enjoyable fast journey.. Now I totally understand why Monkey rather take the bus then MRT.

1 . MRT is super crowded
2. PPL pushing and shoving
3. Ppl who do not bath
4. RUDE ppl
5. Ppl who wants to read papers ,but keeps poking ppl
6. ppl who are have gold in their mouth

I can still taking it for 1 and 2 of the above.. but not the rest.. I mean most Singaporeans are with high education or with education.. except some of the older folks... so why issit that they cannot be nicer.. more polite and learn to say excuse me. It does not cost you much to just open your mouth to ask ppl to give way to you so that you can go out....

Shoving and pushing is dangerous... trains are pretty fast now.. so wait a while for the next train.. where is all your ethics and so call manners...

I understand catching up on the latest and current new update for your life or gossip is important.. but then do that without having to irritated others... but poking others with the papers as u flip or read....

The seats do not run away... so wait for a while.... and if u are just getting off 2 stops later.. why do u want to seat... there is no need to squeeze and push the others standing behide you to get to the seat.

Be more health cleanness... bath or spray some perfume when you wake up and dress up... stinking in the train is not good... I mean care about others around you... ppl who needs to meet clients and go to work... and I think it does not smell good on then when they have to meet ppl with your stinking smell...

You call this educated people... I mean come on... think for others..

But too bad .. I still have to take the train...

Panda Attaching People in China

Saw a news report this morning about a panda attacking ppl in china..

BEIJING - A college student in southern China was bitten by a panda after he broke into the bear's enclosure hoping to get a hug, state media and a park employee said Saturday.


The student was visiting Qixing Park with classmates on Friday when he jumped the 6.5-foot (2-meter) -high fence around the panda's habitat, said the park employee, who refused to give his name.


The park in Guilin, a popular tourist town in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, houses a small zoo and a panda exhibit. It was virtually deserted when the student scaled the fence surrounding the panda, named Yang Yang, the employee said.


He said the student was bitten in the arms and legs. Two foreign visitors who saw the attack ran to get help from workers at a nearby refreshment stand, who notified park officials, the employee said.


The student was pale as he was taken away by medics but appeared clear-headed, he said.


"Yang Yang was so cute and I just wanted to cuddle him. I didn't expect he would attack," the 20-year-old student, surnamed Liu, said in a local hospital, according to the official Xinhua News Agency.


Liu underwent surgery Friday evening and was out of danger, but will remain in the hospital for several days, Xinhua said.


Yang Yang, who was flown to Guilin last year from Sichuan province, was behaving normally on Saturday and did not seem to suffer any negative psychological effects, the park employee said.


He said it was not clear whether the facility would add more signs around the enclosure or put more fences up.


"We cannot make it like a prison. We already have signs up warning people not to climb in," he said. "There are no fences along roads but people know not to cross if there are cars. This is basic knowledge."


Pandas, which generally have a public image as cute, gentle creatures, are nonetheless wild animals that can be violent when provoked or startled.


Last year, a panda at the Beijing Zoo attacked a teenager, ripping chunks out of his legs, when he jumped a barrier while the bear was being fed.


The same panda was in the news in 2006 when he bit a drunk tourist who broke into his enclosure and tried to hug him while he was asleep.The tourist retaliated by biting the bear in the back. "

Was talking to Monkey on the phone yesterday and he told me a super funny yet disgusting joke on some one that I do not like .. let's call her Cat .. I am actually not a person who dislike ppl.. but this person has been a constant irritant to our r/s and my life.. which really really annoyed me very much.. sorry to say that.. but she is 1 person i think who is sad or miserable in her own life and hope that all will be like her..

Anyway the joke is that .... Cat was talking to 1 of her colleague who have move to Sengkang... a person i know also lets call her F1... she also do not like Cat

Cat : I heard you broke up with your bf?

F1 : Yup

Cat : Oh sorry to heard about it . I also been through this

F1 : okie i see

Cat : You know last time my bf broke up with me coz they feel insecure

When i heard that from Monkey.. i nearly wanted to throw up my BBQ pork rice I had for dinner... I mean frankly speaking .. she is not pretty.. and I am not be mean or evil.. Some Videos from the Korean pop concert that my sister and I attend on the 4th Nov 2008 (Tuesday). Tickets were only given to either their main sponsor or the Korean community... So it means tickets are not for sale.. so I guess I was 1 of the few privilege ones that get to attend the thing..

All thanks to my boss.. who got 2 tickets for me .. and the seats were not bad... we were seated 17 rows from the stage and has a pretty good view of a lot of things...

Got a call from Val ytd to ask if I was shopping and could I help her get mittens for Isaac.. so i told her I will go get it in the evening when I go home...

Met T at DBG after work and we took a train to Bishan for some shopping and dinner... when i reach kiddy palace and was looking for some stuff.. saw on the internet that a U shape pillow for mummy is good for breast feeding ... So went to down to have a look..

But hor .. when I ask about it .. the Auntie there tell me

Auntie : Xiao Jie.. the one with the latch not for you la... coz hor too small for you..

Me : ....... Auntie... not for me one leh ...

Auntie : Sorry sorry hor..

Yeah I know I am fat.. but not to the extend that I have just given birth and shopping myself right...

While all these was going on my friend who was there with me was busy on her phone .. smsing .. that is just her lor ...

Another lady was ringing in the sales and the lady was asking if I want the member card.. I was thinking.. then the lady was like it is good... coz if u keep on buying things for ur baby..

Auntie : NO LA !! For her God-Son one...

I show auntie Isaac photo... and she was like is he 3 - 4 mths old.. then i told her.. No ... he is only 6 day old.. lol haha

Poor Little Boy

Was talking to Mummy val on the phone yesterday and she sounded not very happy.. almost seems on the verge to cry... so was thinking at the back of my mind to visit her or not.. just to accompany her.. take the baby away from her just for a while .. so that she can feel better...

Was busy in office yesterday too .. trying to finish pasting 350 stickers to our old MBA brochures due to a price change... went home late at about 6.40pm.. called mario to see if he was going home soon ... and indeed he was.. so ask him for lift to his place .. to surprise mummy Val... Went to City Hall to get Mos burger for Dinner and Donuts for Mummy Val... coz no idea what she can eat.. but guess glazed normal donuts and sugar donuts was fine....

Reach her place at about 8.00pm and baby Isaac was crying and feeling uncomfortable .. and Mummy was not feeling good too.. coz she totally has no idea what Baby wants.. I try carrying Isaac.. and talk to him and pet him .. soon enough he fell asleep in my arms.. so cute.. hehe ... I did not know I have the power of doing it .. maybe cause when he was in mummy's tummy.. one of the most often heard voice is MINE !!!!

Then he was fast alseep .. we all sat outside the dining table and chit chat.. till he woke up for his feeding time... When val's dad.. Isaac's grandpa carried him.. super drama la.. Uncle was like not sure how to carry him coz he say he not used to it .. but still managed to and feed him too .... As we are about to go home.. the Confinement lady was going to put baby to sleep and was cleaning him up.. we found out that his butt was red.. and was she was cleaning him.. he was making sounds of discomfort.. so I think that was the MAIN problem he was crying.. coz he was in PAIN...

I once attend a course about the behavior of oneself at work.. either you are submissive.. aggressive or assertive... and the lecturer actually told us that baby is assertive... coz they will only cry when they want something... be it that he wet himself.. poo... hungry or in discomfort.. pain.... once you have solve the problem.. they will not cry...

Baby does not have any means of communicating with us .. except crying.. so we just have to slowly take note of what each cry means... it seems that they have different cry for different wants.... Wow so much things to learn on Baby....

P.S... going to load my video and photo of the Korean Concert I want to on 4th Nov.. Tuesday..

Now on msn having a Conversation with pooh Bear's gf telling me that she is looking for chiropractor . So I told her that Suntec has a good one as my best Friend used to go there. Then the conversation go on to about getting a good pillow.. so i told her that there is no good pillow.. as long as u sleep liao shiok.. then it is a good pillow.. coz I used the brand tampure .. sleep liao get headache... then she say...

Baby Isaac Soedibjo

SMS came at about 1422 hrs yesterday...

Den : Isaac Soedibjo, 4.35 Kg

Weeee. finally the boy that we have been waiting came ... the wait is finally over and he is so so heavy... and very tall too at 54cm ... haha

Started to get busy and sending colleagues and friends on the news of the new born.. and arranging to go down yesterday to see him first hand ... and also to see Mummy Val.. hehe

After work I rush down and manged to get into the bus before the sudden heavy downpour of rain... it was raining cats and dogs.. but after i got to Glene ... the rain stop... luckily for me .. hehe .. so went to the delivery suites to see her and baby.. but baby was in the nursery room having his meal so have to wait to be wheel in to mum's room...

Also have to wait for Esther and Gang to come too.. they were late .. coz Su Ann and Suan was taking their own sweet time ... ARrrr every time.. so we have to wait ...

The dear Mdm teo forget the camera.. so I made her go back down her car to get it .. coz if not no photos of the baby... and she finally came back with it ... below are some shot of baby Isaac .. who is a carbon copy of his dad...



He is just so so cute... lalal ... Congrats to Mario ( my nick for Denny) and Val...

Baking - Chocolate Chip and Walnut Cookie

I finally open my oven to use on Wednesday night ... and there was some pre-things to do when you have a new oven.. so I did as the instructions ask to do .. while getting ready to do my cookies...

While mixing and measuring all the ingredients... found out that there was no specific instructions for the the section on how to add in the flour... so call my baking Shifu.. Jamie for help... and with her help and explanation.. i did it ...

Give to my sister to try and mum to test.. Both say pass... dad came home and try and say nice hehe... gave some to val mum and BFF in office also say not bad for 1st try..... weeeeeeee

Have not gotton a pic on it will try to take 1 this week and post on it... the cookies came out a little dark brown.. and so Shifu says temp too high.. next batch reduce temp...

Sunday going to bake Apple Muffin.. hehe wonder how it will turn out ....

on a Side note... ah gal is at my house.. she is still so cute and active... and for human years she is 56 YEARS....

Scare the Hell out of Me

Monkey love to play pranks, so today he decided to play a prank of my and Kelly baby aka baking baby... Tell us that baby joyce's toe nail came off and have the toe have to be cut away.. I was like WTH !!! only toe nail came off why need to cut off...


The msn went :

Monkey : ur baby toe nail came off.. need to go hospital to cut of the toe

Me : What !!! What happened ??

Monkey : No Idea la... she walk half way then her toe nail came off

So this start the series of calls to Joyce... and kelly msn me and ask me what happened... Joyce press away our calls.. and this this caused more panic... so I call Ben ... who was supposly the one to send Joyce to hospital... but he totally had No idea what was going on .....

So I msn Jamie ... who is my Elison's gf.. and he also totally no idea.. so while all these were going on.. Monkey provided us with a picture that he got off the internet and told us it's Joyce toe nail.. and then both Kelly and me... just do not believe it was.. and then we are like forget it man .. it's not... and


The so call toe nail....

Monkey : OK OK.. The game is over.. This is actually a friendship test .. to see how much u all care about Joyce... but u all hor only keep on saying her Toe nail is ugly...

The fact is the Toe nail is UGLY...

Then we got the events straight... Baby Joyce this morning woke up and her psp drop and hit on her toe.. so it was bleeding .. and she went to the office.. after that it was so Painful that she could not take it .. so decided to go see doctor.. and doctor told her everything is fine...

The story ENDS there... nothing else happened... so that is the prank of my dear monkey and he still says wants me to pay him for his entertainment feees... Pui Pui...

On a lighter note.. My ah gal is coming over to my place.... which is my friend's dog .. and she is really cute... hehe .. my mum though scare of dogs... love her... hehe

Time seems to fly pass this week... So fast it is already Mid Week.. and soon Weekend comes...


Monday after work.. went to Borders with Esther to get some English Manga.. but the selection there not much ... but still manged to get a series.. call Ultra Maniac... There is a total of 5 volumes.. I love the story and all.... Now I am so hook on to Manag...

Saturday / Sunday - Part 2

Saturday night after dinner was lazing at home watching TV an waiting for time to pass....

Came 2am... went to bath and down to airport to pick Miss Tan up.. reach the airport rather early... and then sit down beside a lady and her ang moh boyfriend... both of them seems rather busy with their individual HP.. either playing games or smsing each other.. haha

While waiting in the budget area.. the air con gets even colder.... and I started to have a little sinus problem... but as the time came closer for the plan to land.. more and more people came .. to pick wifes.. lovers.. friends.. siblings....guest.. and the list goes on....

After picking Miss Tan and her Mum.. and sending them both home... and went down to her granddad's wake for a while.. it was rather tiring... and by the time I got home .. change and bath... it was almost 4.30 - 4.45am....

Tired... Yawn .... went to bed and work up at about 12noon feeling hot and just out...

Slack at home the whole day watching TV.. reading a bit of book..

Had dinner with the family at Ocean Fish Head Curry at Toa Payoh... super nice la.... Had a wonderful dinner...

Fish Head curry and Lime Juice.. best match ..... everything was just wonder... after that I went for desert.. Also super nice.... So Full till feel like bursting ... But I ENJOY my meal....

Saturday - Part 1

Weekend was shopping and sleeping and more sleeping ....

Take had an anniversary sale and there was a 15% discount for all Taka card member on top of whatever discount they had... it was over the weekend last week and so i was kind of not sure to go or not to go .. as also deciding if the discount was worth going as mum say.. things at taka is expensive...

So Jamie went to the first round of seeing on Friday evening... and she sms me to tell me that a Kenwood oven was on sale.. at S$159 before the discount.. a good buy.. since moi wanted to get an oven to start baking cakes and cookies...

So on Saturday morning... woke up at about 9ish with a sms from my best friend Sharon to tell me she is coming back as her granddad has pass away : -( after which I did not know what to do .. so end up watching Doramon on Tv and then Monkey called me and told me he is done with his things and can meet me at Take at 10ish... i was like WHAT !!! i have not even bath and alll ...

So I hurry went to bath, change and rush down in a cab to meet him ... but Ta Ma De... no cab la..waited and waited and waited.... After 15 mins still no cab ...

Made a few phone calls to inform my uncle and auntie of the news and to Sharon's new hubby Daniel to get details and also to coordinate with him about picking Miss Tan up... I told him that I will coz can feel that he is feeling sleeping and should let him sleep.. on top of that Sharon's dad was already back in Singapore and he needs help in all the arrangement...

Why to inform my uncle and auntie.. to cut long story short.... coz Miss Tan is actually my cousin through marriage.... so can be consider distance cousin....

Call Val mummy to tell her me going to Taka and ask if she needs anything for Ah boy since on sale...

Call Mum to inform her about the news too and dad to lend the car to pick her from airport at 3.00am ...

After all the phone call .. finally got a cab and yeahoo.. down to Taka for Sales.... dear was waiting there for me liao... he was roaming around in Kino waiting for me ....

Finally reach Taka and started shopping.. as usual... Longchamp first... was so tempted .. discount for a limited edition was about 25% and cost like S$130 plus.... then to sport section coz Monkey wanted to get a jacket and also a bag pack... but we found nothing there... then to Agnes B... again discount ... the tote bag was like S$150 after discount too....

The headed to the Kitchen Section and saw the oven that Jamie recommended... was so so so tempting.. but my tummy was growling ... so went for lunch at the Hong Kong cafe in Taka.. had a friend nissan noodle with egg and luncheon meat... a honey lemon drink and bean curd and grass jelly for desert.. Yum Yum !!!

During the whole meal... Mr Monkey was just distrubing me...

Monkey :Bag or Oven ... Bag or Oven..

Me : STOP IT !!!

coz he knows I wanted both...

While waiting for the good.. Monkey was so sweet... he told me :

Monkey : I tell you what.. I get you the oven, you get the bag yourself

Me : Mai la... why buy me present

Monkey : * following the advertisement* becoz I lupe u

Me : Hahahaha

After lunch .. we went shopping again.. needed to get an engangment and birthday present for Miss Tan.. coz I miss her ROM in Perth in early October....

So back to Taka... and search.. finally got her a Twinkle Bell HP chain for her from Swarovski for her ROM and for her birthday... a car key holder from Braun Buffel for her new car she got in Australia...

Went to see the Oven again .. Lol....still cannot decide... then hang around the department and walking around ... thinking and seeing other things...

Monkey saw a backpack he like and we got it ... was a steal buy... was like only S$21.60 after discount ... lol...

So AFTER much thinking and tempting.... Monkey got me the Oven... lol...

We paid for the items and took a cab home... rest of Saturday was spend sleeping.. and watching TV at home till 2am.......

Green Tea Kit Kat

Was having a conversation with a friend yesterday..

E : Have you try the green tea kit kat I gave you

Me : Nope not yet

E : I am surprise that you have not try

Me : Humph ! I have a lot of tibits to eat la.. but I will eat later

E: Ok ok

She will say that coz she know I cannot resist chocolates.. especially those from overseas... Not Malaysia and Indonesia.. coz they have a smelly oil smell...


These green tea kit kat are from Japan.... Yum! Yum! 2 small packets in the box.. shared them with Val mummy... after which my conversation with E went on...

Me : I tried them ...

E : You like them...

Me : Yum Yum ... Love them.. super nice...

E : Glad that you like it ..

Hehe see I have such loving and nice friends... just Glad and feeling happy....

Starting a new one

After not writing on a blog for the longest time.. have decided to start on a new one... but then it comes down to asking for help on a new layout .. asking for help on how to make a new template all over again...

Perhaps since I am so free.. should try and look online to see if I can find a nice one that I like and try to put in shutbox.. and the other rest of the stuff.. slowly .. but I hope surely can make it work..

But I am sure I have people who can help me hehe ... just have to ask ...

I have not blog for almost a year and if fact 1 year 2 mths... so now back to blogging.. I want to make the best of it .. with pics and all.. and also try to update more often... * promise to myself* lol...

Then also need to update to my cousins and friends on the new address...
